A woman found three puppies abandoned in a crate on the street. The cold was unbearable and the puppies were found in critical circumstances. The woman called for help immediately. When they arrived at the veterinarian clinic the puppies started to bark to the doctors. But the doctor had some bad news to announce.
Their little brother was gone to heaven. The puppies seemed to sense it as tears in their eyes started to water. This loss was a big one to handle for them.
But this horror story is not over yet. The puppies were infected with a virus after the doctors ran some tests on them. The Parvovirus, it turns out this virus is very dangerous for puppies. As their condition was very critical they were suffering from malnutrition and worms. The puppies had a long fight in front of them.
The smallest puppy weighed only 3 pounds (1.3kg) he was the one the doctors were scared for. He had trouble sleeping as he kept waking up to see if his sister was still there. The puppies stayed warm by hugging each other and sleeping together.
After fighting for a while on day nine the puppies started to get a little better. The doctors their prayers worked. And they were taking antibiotics every day, as they were being treated for herliquia and infections. On day twenty the treatment process was still long. But their chances of survival were increasing immensely.
Thirty-five days later; the puppies looked much better, this was their last day on the medicines the doctors gave them. The puppies were healthy and playful again. Their journey had finally come to an end. But even more happiness came only two days later. A kind girl adopted them both, as she didn’t want them to be apart from each other after what they had been through. Now they will grow up side by side, love and protect each other. In memory of their little brother who they will never forget.
